A course introducing key concepts and approaches to working with people diagnosable with personality disorder (PD).

Buckinghamshire Complex Needs Service
Buckinghamshire Complex Needs Service offers training placements for Clinical Professionals; these are usually as part of local professional training programmes, but we can offer three month placements in the Therapeutic Communities to interested clinical professionals subject to interview and Trust clearance. Unfortunately we cannot fund these placements so the professional will need to clear the placement with their employers.
The Service also offers honorary (i.e. unpaid) contracts to suitable individuals with an interest in working in Therapeutic Communities. These are usually (but do not have to be) psychology graduates developing their CV for postgraduate clinical training. Again, these contracts are subject to interview and Trust clearance.
Professional Visitors from Mental health or Statutory Services can arrange to visit the Therapeutic Communities for a day visit to find out more about our work. Visits last all day and take place on a Tuesday in Aylesbury or a Wednesday in Amersham. Telephone 01296 565875 for more details.
