Congratulations to the PD services team at North Staff Combined Healthcare

Each year North Staffs Combined Healthcare NHS Trust recognises its staff and teams who deserve recognition for their work and achievements by inviting nominations for their annual REACH (Recognising Excellence & Achievement in Combined Healthcare) awards.
The categories this year included the Service User and Carer Award, which ‘recognises outstanding contributions, made by an individual or team, to the needs of service users and carers and is aimed at those who have made a real difference to their lives. Nominated by our Service Users and Carers, this award celebrates those who make a real difference every day to the lives of others’.
Bodd is delighted that the Personality Disorder Team’s Service User Network was selected to receive recognition in this category. The team were told that “due to the high standard of entries in the User and Carer’s category, the judges have taken the decision not to appoint an overall winner, but to recognise the efforts of those chosen in an extended short list, with a certificate”.
Two service users attended the Award ceremony held on March 24 to receive the certificate on behalf of the Network.
Since the Personality Disorder Service was formed in 2008 it has received recognition at the Awards each year, winning the Service Transformation Award in 2008, runners up in 2009 for the Improving Experience Award & Highly Commended this year in the above award.
